Saab 9-3 Coupe 2.0T S (185bhp) 3d (2000/V) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Good value second hand - a lot of car for money. Standard air con and trip etc.
Costs
Bypass the main dealer network and it costs the same as any other motor in this price bracket - Get 30-35 mpg on my 50 mile round trip to the office on Mways and A roads.

On the road
Driving
Excellent driving experience on A roads and Motorways - steady and stable. Country roads are not its natural enviroment - feels unwieldy with spirited driving on b roads. Needs traction control - spins wheels in 2nd gear in wet!
Performance
Stonking performance in a straight line - once off the line! In gear performance is frightening if you have a lead foot on a wet day.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Not left us stranded once in 35,000 miles - no faults to report.
Image
If you want a wide- boy car, look elsewhere. If you want understated good looks, with a hint of sportiness and a good dose of comfort and practicality, then this car is for you. Won't turn heads, but will project a positive message.
