Saab 9-3 Coupe 2.0T SE (185bhp) 3d (2000/X) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
You can't get an equivalent used BMW, Audi or Merc for the same money.
Costs
Dealers are expensive.
-
On the road
Driving
Front wheels can loose traction when accelerating out a corner, this is quite pronounced on wet roads. TCS would have been a good idea.
Performance
I really enjoy driving it. The low down torque is useful.

Living with it
Reliability
The coil pack went at 50,000 miles and cost me £300 to fix. ECU needed reprogramming although this was cheap in comparison.
Image
Not quite as flash as BMW or Audi, but I quite like that.
Comfort
I do a lot of long distance driving, and I can't fault it.

Security and Service
Security
No problems, the alarm was set off last week by a heavy hail shower.
