Economy
Value
Good value. I got this car with 1600 miles on it as new list price with extras £22k - I paid £16k from a Saab dealer. I was looking at a 3 year old Audi for the same money!
Costs
Servicing costs stated £80 for the first service, but it was £170. Not very economical - started off at 23mpg around town, but when the oil was replaced with 'MOBIL 1', that figure instantly rose to 29-30mpg.

On the road
Driving
Very smooth and effortless to drive. Auto box excellent seamless gearchange.
Performance
I think it's very fast!
-
Living with it
Reliability
No problems at all in the first 12 months.
Image
An alternative to the obvious 3-Series/Audi A4.
Comfort
Extremely comfortable. Did London to the Lake District in 3.5 hours without a stop (Not doing 70!)

Security and Service
Security
Thatcham grade 1 alarm supplied, deadlocks, blah...
Service
Ballards of Finchley excellent, but Viking Saab at Watford attrocious - ignored E-Mails and phone calls and gave no explanation of charges.
