Summary
What does this car say about you?
Grumpy old man?? Don't really care!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Most of them seem to like it. Think it is good value, safe & comfortable.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. Absolutely. I love it. Despite its age, it does the required job (and at 28-30mpg).
What are you likely to buy next?
Depends on needs. I bought this car when I got a job 60 miles from home. I would consider a newer Saab 9-3, a saloon, possibly TiD.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£2,300
When did you buy the car?
March 2011
Did you get a good deal and why?
Paid a fair price (I think). History was pretty good (1 owner car, 40k miles) though car was not mint.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Wanted something big, safe & reliable for weekly motorway commute.
What was the dealer like?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Smooth cruiser. I swapped the 17" 'Aero' alloys for 15'' 6-spoke wheels (from a 900) and ride is much improver on suburban roads & speedbumps etc.
What's it like to park?
Big but ok. And it is 10 years old.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Needed replacement 'coil pack'.
What's most practical about your car?
Hatchback means this is the family 'tip car'.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Heated front seats are marvellous.
