Summary
What does this car say about you?
Saab are not very run of the mill. Don't have the negative connotation of a BMW or Mercedes. A conservative (small c) car.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Friends like it. Wife not so keen but she likes Alfa or golf only.
Would you buy this car again and why?
This is my third. Has a ng900 auto for a short time as it was cheaper than chips. Till the box failed. Had a 9-3 coupe with 185 hp and it was a class old motor. Regret selling it but the 5dr was a more practical option. I like them as they feel solid are 100% reliable and a bit different.
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably a diesel one. The only downside is the 33 mpg average. But then I do like the turbo poke.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very sedate when you feel sedate. Rorty when you want to drive a little faster... Very stable and predictable as well as forgiving. Comfy at all times and can handle the winding coast roads very well does lean a bit but that's ok. Really enjoy the old beast.
What's it like to park?
Grand.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Needed to have the front suspension struts replaced for mot. It has always lived beside the seaside so they were a bit rusted... About to crack.
What's most practical about your car?
Massive boot! Huge and even more vast when the seats are lowered.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
All the things you need on a car. Air con leather Brakes are very reassuring when you are hoofing about.
