Saab 9-5 Estate (99-05) rivals
Overview
This roomy estate is a very credible alternative to German contenders in the executive market. Styled like a true Saab (even though it shares many components with the rather less idiosyncratic Vauxhall Vectra), the 9-5 is a beautifully engineered and constructed vehicle which also has a touch of individuality. The new estate – launched in 1999 – is Saab’s first since the 95 of 1960-76.
A car that puts panache into practicality.
