Summary
What does this car say about you?
Someone who knows more about cars than the average buyer and thinks carefully before buying.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They are impressed with the space, comfort and quality of the car.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would if they still made it or a replacement.
What are you likely to buy next?
I don't know. I like the car so much I cannot bring myself to spend thousands of pounds on a replacement which may not have such character. I know I will have to eventually but I'm putting off the day.

Yes
What price did you pay?
£19,500

Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes as the dealer had a number of pre-registered cars for sale. As a previous buyer from them I had a good deal.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Previous SAAB owner. Dealer had a special offer for a pre-registered car.
What was the dealer like?
Very good. I'm sorry they are no longer in business.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very good acceleration in the mid range so ideal for overtaking. Comfortable cruising on the motorway and fun to drive fast on lesser road. The lower sports suspension helps here but gives a firmer ride than the standard setup. Economy is good averaging 42mpg in mixed driving.
What's it like to park?
No problem as it comes with rear parking sensors. It's not too big so fits supermarket parking bays.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
A few items mainly the DPF and EGR valve due to using cheap supermarket fuel. The alternator failed at 67k miles. The engine is the weak link in the car as it's made by Fiat.
What's most practical about your car?
Plenty of space both with the seats up and when folded. Comfortable, heated seats and good performance existentially for overtaking.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Heated seats especially as the car has leather seats which are very cold in winter.
