Economy
Value
Buy used and you get a lot of value and spec for your money.
Costs
Depreciation being the biggest 'cost', buying used offsets a lot of this.

On the road
Driving
Great motorway cruiser. Not meant to be thrown around corners on a B road.
Performance
Mine is an auto. More than adequate performance, but the 2.3 is more suited for the auto box.

Living with it
Reliability
Have had to replace timing chain at 45K, the information display and DI cassette in addition to usual service items. Having said that, paid not very much money for a 3 year old car. Have had it for 2 years now & it feels like it will last forever.

More for the self assured
Comfort
Great. Rock steady on motorways.
