Summary
What does this car say about you?
That's the thing about a Saab..It says you are quietly informed.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
A comfortable car that they don't mind going any where in. You can polish it up and it looks very respectable. It's also not over the top.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would as it is easy to live with and does exactly what it says on the tin..
What are you likely to buy next?
Slightly concerned for spares in the future so may be not a Saab but if I see a very low mileage one for sensible money then I would buy it. Possibly a BMW or Volvo.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£5,500
When did you buy the car?
June 2010
Did you get a good deal and why?
I got a very good deal as the car was quite low mileage but unloved especially inside. I could see there was no physical damage and it cleaned up really well.. I also think it had been taken in part exchange and the dealer just wanted it gone.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
My previous car was written off in an accident so wanted a good solid value for money car that had a good standard of finish and presence that I could turn up for business meetings in and also not look too frivolous,..
What was the dealer like?
The dealer was impartial and I got the feeling they didn't know much about Saab. I believe it was taken in part exchange.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Actually thought it was quite slow at first being used to manual but when I got used to it and kept my foot down it actually goes quite well. Superb on the motorway where it comes into its own really.very comfortable.. Have to say that it is also no slouch and handles surprisingly well on small winding roads with the sports suspension.
What's it like to park?
No real problem as mine has rear parking sensors which are a great aid. The car is large but with good visibility and power steering it isn't a problem once you get used to the length.
