Summary
What does this car say about you?
Can't afford a new car.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Dunno, never asked them. It's pretty non-decript really.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Probably not because of the steering wheel thing.
What are you likely to buy next?
I'd really love a Volvo S60 when the prices come down a bit. It's a beautiful drive, just as comfortable seats but better handling and the D5 diesel engine is great.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Nippy for a big car - a demon in sports mode. But better suited to motorways. Still handles like a Vectra on side roads. Seats are very comfortable but steering wheel won't adjust far enough - it's always too far away and my arms are at full stretch, which gives backache on long journeys.
What's it like to park?
Easy - usual problems with big cars you can't see any of the corners.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Climate Control has stopped working, won't blow any air hot or cold. Haven't looked into it yet. Nothing else has failed in 6 months and 9000 miles. Passed MOT and full service with no surprises or shocks.
What's most practical about your car?
Very easy to drive, especially for an auto - the turbo gives it a boost at low revs makes up for the auto lag.
