Economy
Value
So much quality car AND kit for the money. A real bargain nearly new.
Costs
Dealer charges reasonably high, but in line with German marques.

On the road
Driving
Handles better than the German obsessed hype would have you believe. Rolls a bit in corners, though. The trade-off for superb comfort and relaxed motorway driving.
Performance
Seriously quick for a big car. Startlingly fast off the line AND huge reserves of low rev torque thanks to the low pressure turbo. This car taught me the value of torque over power.

Living with it
Reliability
Very reliable over the last 2 years / 90,000 miles. No major costs - just seems to pick up chips / cracks on the headlight and fog light lenses - cheaper than expected to replace.
Image
A no-no for the image-obsessed BMW crowd, but provides a real feel-good factor for those in the know. Surely the most underrated car in Britain.
Comfort
600 miles per day or 2200 miles per week. Have done them both on a number of occasions and got out not feeling tired or stiff. No trace of a bad back ever! Great seats, especially in Leather.

Security and Service
Security
Which other car actually locks the gearbox instead of the steering wheel? So logical! Doesn't attract undesirable attention, unlike the German brands. The best security feature out!
Service
Quality service and support to go with a quality car - no less than you would expect - also without the aloofness of staff in competitor German marques.
