I've run Saabs since passing my test in 1980 so believe I'm qualified to give an honest appraisal of this model.
The design oozes class and looks seriously sexy but it stops there. The design feels like it was rushed through production and has a major design flaw that has caught me out, fortunately, no accident. At junctions, the roof pillars give you a restricted view, so you have to be extremely careful. The infotainment system has known bugs and is fiddly to operate. The car is difficult to drive and without doubt the worst Saab model I've driven and seriously regret selling my 2011 9-3, which I now know is the better design.
