Saab 900 Convertible 2.0 S 2d (1998/R) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Very good value for the build quality and spec of the interior.
Costs
So far so good, no major faults.
-
On the road
Driving
The drive is good for a convertible, a little scuttle shake but doesn';t handle sharp bends at speed well.
Performance
Average for a 2.0, if you can afford it, stretch for a 2.5 or a Turbo.

Living with it
Reliability
Excellent, no problems at all.
Image
Very good, everyone looks at you when the top's down in the Summer!
Comfort
Very comfortable, leather seats as standard, CD player, bit wobbly on twisty roads.

Security and Service
Security
Very poor, no alarm or immobiliser. - a thief's paradise, get some after market security (cost me £350 for a Thatcham Cat 1).
Service
Very good dealer - nothing was too much trouble.
