Saab 900 Convertible 2.3 SE 2d Auto (1994/M) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Lots of equipment as standard. Cheap compared to German rival.
Costs
Low insurance. Fairly good on fuel considering it's an auto.
-
On the road
Driving
Very comfortable, with good driving position. Quite a lot of scuttle shake.
Performance
Perfectly adequate. Can't go too fast with the top down anyway.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Nothing mechanically has gone wrong, but trim is poorly finished. Most knobs and switches fall off. Nothing a tube of super glue can't fix, though.
Image
Turns heads with the top down.
Comfort
Can't fault it in the front. Back is a bit of a squeeze, though.

Security and Service

Deadlocks, alarm and lockable gearbox. I also have a Cat-1 alarm and immobiliser fitted.
