Saab 900 Coupe 2.0 SE Turbo Talladega 3d (1997/R) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Excellent second-hand buy, no question.
Costs
Running costs are no more expensive than a Vectra.

On the road
Driving
Not the best handling car for the back roads, in fact rather poor. Motorway work is what it was built for and it shows. Easy to sort if you have a few spare ££.
Performance
£ for £, performance is excellent. 185bhp with a turbo and very easy to hike power if you so wish, not that you need to.

Living with it
Reliability
I have had no major problems.
Image
Saab has a very grey image, not that it's a bad thing. It's a wolf in sheep's clothing.
Comfort
Saab seats are the best in the world, very comfy, I have two discs missing in my lower back and I find these seats great. Shocks and springs let it down a little.

Security and Service
Security
Security is good. Full remote alarm standard with dead locks.
Service
Saab dealers are first rate but with the prices they charge they realy do need to be.
