Saab 900 Coupe 2.0i S 3d Auto (1996/P) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
If you don't want to be one of the crowd and want something different, give a 900 a try.
Costs
Fuel economy not bad if you don't push it, consumables are quite pricey though.

On the road
Driving
Lightly loaded front wheels mean quite a bit of understeer, but get it right and the car will be rewarding to drive.
Performance
Free reving four pot sounds good. See Abbott Racing in Essex to sort out the handling and spice it up a bit.

Living with it
Reliability
Excellent, no problems at all.
Image
Very individualistic not like a pretentious BMW or Merc.
Comfort
Front seats are very comfortable, but give little support when cornering hard.
-
Security and Service
Security
Reverse gear ignition lock is good, but I recomend a Thatcham Cat 1 alarm/immobiliser like the Meta Aquilla or similar.
Service
Excellent, but you pay for it.
