Saab 900 Hatchback 2.0i 16V 5d (1989/F) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Very cheap to buy. Quite a bit of car for the money.
Costs
Only had to get a recon steering rack.

On the road
Driving
Pretty smooth. Bit noisy, but a comfortable ride. Not exactly a sportscar and is a bit boring to drive, but can be fun if you heave it about.
Performance
It keeps up, but it's not really what I expected from a 2.0 16V injection.

Living with it
Reliability
Starts every time and is very solid. Dashboard lights gave up and it needed a new steering rack, but apart from that it's as good as gold.
Image
Depends what you're after. I like the fact it's bland and anonymous - stops people messing with it.
Comfort
I'm living in veluxury.

Security and Service
Security
I doubt it's very good, but noone's touched it so far.
