Saab 900 Hatchback 2.5 V6 SE 5d Auto (1994/L) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Lost £1,500 in 10 months since purchasing, but could be used car market, rather than car to blame.
Costs
Insurance biggest killer, but spares etc. seem pretty cheap. Tyres expensive, though.

On the road
Driving
Very comfy, good handling and easy to park. Great on motorways.
Performance
Good acceleration, smooth steering and good road holding.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Have only had to replace one tyre and the battery in 12 months. Seems a good bet if well serviced.
Image
Top notch - the car looks a million dollars and gets a lot of admiring glances.
Comfort
Can't fault the 900SE - comfy leather seats, good driving position, air conditioning and a cracking stereo.
-
Security and Service
Security
Can't get central locking in passenger door to work - is this a common fault? Otherwise, seems ok.
Service
Service good, but dealers are few and far between in Scotland.
