Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£1,125
When did you buy the car?
March 2006
Did you get a good deal and why?
I'm not entirely sure whether I got a good deal or not. When bought the car had 80K on the clock (not bad). However RAC inspection revealed an oil leak from the oil pump and the steering pulling to one side. However full service history.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I needed a big safe family car that I could rely on.
What was the dealer like?
Pushy and invisible, all dealings were done through his wife.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
smooth, alittle sluggish when pulling away but top end performance is great.
What's it like to park?
big! Rear end is alittle difficult to see but the power steering really helps

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Exhaust studs snapped at 90K, Oil pump seal blew at 110K after 30K since installation. Gearbox let go a 115K along with replacement oil pump seal.
What's most practical about your car?
The huge boot - and I mean huge - you can fit a family sized washing machine and a tumble dryer in the thing with out putting the seats down. Really smooth ride and the turbo is great for motorway driving.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Air-con that on cold is like being in sweden in winter and the heated seats (wife loved them )
