Saab 9000 Hatchback 1985-
  • Economy

    Value

    4 out of 5 4.0

Extremely well priced compared to similar spec, sized and power output German rivals.

    Costs

    2 out of 5 2.0

Rather expensive to repair at main dealer, but 'non Saab orignal' parts are available far cheaper as are used parts from broken cars. Most general mechanics are now quite familiar with Saabs.

    4 out of 5 4.0

Excellent performance considering size of the car, power and fuel consumption. Lovely mid-range torque, easy to drive.

    3 out of 5 3.0

They can suffer with mechanical problems, and when they do, it's usually expensive.

    Image

    4 out of 5 4.0

Often veiwed as quite a macho or masculine vehicle. Considered very different and unique to most cars on the road.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Seating, space and general spec are all excellent. However ride on bumpy roads is not particularly good, especially if larger after-market alloy wheels are fitted.

    Security

    3 out of 5 3.0
