Cheap to buy. Not as good as a German, but a lot cheaper.
Costs
Expensive insurance and parts. Fuel consuption is good (about 34mpg).

On the road
Driving
Notchy gearbox (particularly 2nd). Smooth and quiet on motorway.
Performance
Gutsy, but could do with more midrange torque.
-

Mechanically good, but watch for electric windows, trip computers etc.

Doesn't shout about itself, but is well respected.

Excellent ergonomic seats and plenty of space. A pleasure to drive big distances in.

Decent locks, but fit alarm.

Helpful and pleasant. Gave me some good free advice.
