Value
A lot of car for the money

Fuel economy good, but servicing can be expensive as VW/ SEAT specify very expensive oil as the lubricant

Driving
Always a comfortable long distance cruiser
Performance
This car always had more than enough grunt for overtaking and could easily sit in the outside lane of motorways
-
Living with it
Reliability
Driver's side front electric window motor failed before 40000 miles air flow meter had to be replaced, again before 40000 miles

Plenty of room for the whole family, 5 of us, and all our paraphanelia

Miller and Middleton of Colchester were excellent for servicing, but local dealer Parkstone of Leigh-on-sea were less friendly and more expensive
