-
Economy
Value
Just add up the VW/Ford options all included in the price (heated seats, heated front screen, climate, computer, headlamp jets etc).
Costs
High mileage but no surprises yet. MPG not as good as Mk1.
-
On the road
Driving
Good high visability, but wide front pillars obscure vision at 35 degrees.
Performance
I used to own a Mk1 1.9TDi, but this 115bhp engine is much more zippy.
-
Living with it
Reliability
(Touch wood) nothing so far. Instant starter.
Image
I like the Seat image, some don't, who cares it is all good VW/Audi components and build (same production line as Sharan and Galaxy in Portugal).
Comfort
Love the heated seats, auto dimming mirror, seating flexibility.

Security and Service
Security
Same VW/Audi locks.
Service
N/A, no need to get involved with manufacturer.
