What does this car say about you?
Needed a family car, but the Alhambra still has that sporty look rather than looking bland and boring.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Most people love it and comment particularly on the interior space.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, this is our second Alhambra and our experience of both has been positive. Also own an Ibiza which is great car. Our experience of SEAT has been excellent so would probably stick with them in the future.
What are you likely to buy next?
The Alhambra will probably be obsolete by the time ours is replaced, so will have to wait and see what SEAT's next MPV will be.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Got a reasonable deal from Milton Keynes SEAT, they wern't prepared to haggle much on the price. Got quite a good p/x on the old Alhambra though.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Previously had a 2001/Y reg Alhambra that needed replacing.
What was the dealer like?
Polite,professional and did not pressurise us into the sale.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very much like a car to drive, nice high up driving position. The 140 PS engine has plenty of grunt, especially for overtaking. Suspension is firm which means it doesn't roll or wallow round corners. It feels a safe car (12 airbags) and extremely comfotable on long trips. Averages 35-38 mpg around town and 45-50 mpg on longer trips - not unusual to get 600 miles to a tank of diesel.

Quite easy thanks to parking sensors.

What's most practical about your car?
It's the perfect family vehicle which takes us, the kids and the dog anywhere. We use it for frequent trips to Cornwall and it just swallows all the family stuff with room to spare !. Easy to get in and out of, 7 seats are useful.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Parking sensors, cruise control, privacy glass and great alloy wheels !
