SEAT Alhambra (2010 - 2020) 2.0 TDI CR SE Lux 5d Owner Review

In their own words
Had a Ford Galaxy (53 plate) previously (TDI) and I can feel the quality of the updated version (albeit Seat although the Ford, VW and Seat MPVs were all the same previously). The cabin space is surprisingly huge (although looks smaller than my previous vehicle) and the diesel engine is far more refined. The car drives like a MPV (this is NOT a sports car!) but can shift, if required.
The ride is nice and quiet and I recommend going for the Ecomotive specification with leather seats (I checked other used interiors and they appeared tacky and not hardwearing), electrics and dash which includes Satnav, digital radio, etc.
The versatility of the seating and the ease to fold seats down is a dream and the sliding doors are great and much safer for children.
Ultimately, it's a great car, great for the family, a reliable brand/engine and is a pleasant ride. Getting a great used version is hard to find (be aware of used taxis and ex-fleet that may have been abused) but, if you can get one, opt for main dealerships or supermarkets where you can seek warranties.
You won't be disappointed with this vehicle.
How reliable do you find the car?
Only just bought the vehicle, but I have bought a manufacturer's warranty and the vehicle runs like a dream. They have fixed a minor issue with the boot and have been very supportive.About their car
