No
What price did you pay?
£16,000

May 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes because I was purchasing a demonstrator with under 2000 miles for £5000 below list.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I require 4 wheel drive and had previously had 4 motion versions of Audi and VW.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Really easy drive. I have had VW's and Audis over many years and it beats all three diesel Passats I had even the last two four motion diesels. Even pushes the 2.6 petrol Audi I had very close. Only criticism is that bottom gear is quite high and makes towing a heavy trailer quite difficult particularly from standstill on steep hills. Some clutch slip is required.
What's it like to park?
Very straightforward especially with the rear sensors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes. Apart from routine replacement have had to replace a faulty brake sensor [ out of warranty ] a common fault across the VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat range and not cheap. Also had the injectors replaced under warranty.
What's most practical about your car?
Good space with very reasonable performance and economy.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Cruise control is a must as we do a lot of continental travel.
