Summary
What does this car say about you?
Not a lot. Odd looks but Q car car performance.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
That its ok.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I wouldn't buy a car without a DSG box again, but would think twice about any VAG product. They are milking it with the running costs.
What are you likely to buy next?
DSG box attached to a biiger exec car.

£0
When did you buy the car?
April 2009
Did you get a good deal and why?
from the Great Trade Centre. Safe bet and fair price.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
It wasn't even on my list. When I looked at the spec I wondered how I'd overlooked it.

Good as usual.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Lije all MPVs it will wobble a bit in hard cornering. Otherwise the ride is firm but ok. Passengers like it.
What's it like to park?
Awful. Simply a nightmare. Needs reversing camera.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing. But the running costs have been a shock after years of Japanese cars. German cars seem too expensive in comparison.
What's most practical about your car?
Enough room for four adults, but poor boot space. The XL is a better bet.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
DSG geaebox. When you use it, you'll understand why manual boxes are doomed. Is faster and more economic than shift stick. the acceleration seems a lot faster than the quoted times and in Sports mode it is a flying machine.
