This car says that you have a sense of style and your a family person, but not of the people carrier variety.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Friends and family think that this car is well designed, comfortable and is good for the monthly shop, without a trailer.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, mechanically the car is sound and a lot cheaper than its VW counter parts, without feeling cheap. It is well kitted out for its price.
What are you likely to buy next?

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£11,495
When did you buy the car?
June 2010
Did you get a good deal and why?
We probably got a reasonable deal as we part exchanged, getting more than I expected for my old car. Price was close to book price on this website.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
We bought the car as with a small family, we required a large boot for the push chairs and plenty of space inside the car, which is possible by the rear seats being able to move rearward by 11cm. Also, 2.0 TDI engine is powerful yet economical.
What was the dealer like?
Dealer was friendly, helpful and not pushy. He kept us informed on when the right car for us was in stock.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The feel from the car is very good. It is responsive with a slightly sporty feel without the harsh ride of other cars. It will happily eat up the miles with plenty of power to overtake, even without changing down and so is an easy drive on the motorway.
What's it like to park?
As with many cars, safety has made visibility rearwards more difficult, but the parking sensors do help with gauging distance. The car has a good steering lock that definitely helps its manouverability.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Only niggle we have had is when the rear washer fluid pipe failed in the front drivers side of the car, just behind the internal fuse box. There is a history or rear washer problems on SEATs. This would not put me off buying another one again.
What's most practical about your car?
The Large boot. It is very practical as it has two levels. When loading with the pushchairs, we normally use the boot without the second floor. We also have SEAT roof rails which are a doddle to fit so we can use are roof box when going camping.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The simple option of being able to disarm the front passenger airbag is great for being able to travel with a newborn in the front seat.
