Economy
Value
Not bad, but you can now have a Clio/Micra Diesel for similar money.
Costs
Excellent 55+mpg, but 40,000 mile was a shock. £450+ for service and cambelt change! The petrols only need a cambelt at 80k. Front tyres only last 14,000 miles.

On the road
Driving
Grips well, but seats are a little unsupportive and it does roll quite a bit.
Performance
Lots of torque, but there is little reward for revving it past 3,000rpm. Will happily cruise at 80-90mph on motorway.

Living with it
Reliability
Has been reliable, but required new rear brake cylinders at 50k-mile service.
Image
Not bad. A bit too cute and small to have a good image really.
Comfort
Very good for this size of car. Makes suprsingly light work of long motorway journeys.

Locks/immobiliser seem of good quality.

Dealer recieved wrong parts once or twice and they can take a while to arrive.
