SEAT Ateca SUV SE Technology 1.4 EcoTSI 150PS 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
If you are looking for a family SUV for a modest price it is difficult to ignore the Ateca. It is brilliant to drive and very comfortable with accessories which would normally be found in an executive range. I brought from new after test driving it against a new Audi Q2 and it was a clear winner in terms of quality of materials and space. After 4 years of driving the only issue I have had is the front collision sensor triggers occasionally when doing about 10-15mph on narrow rural lanes - you can alter the sensitivity of the sensor or turn it off completely. Would I urge you to buy the Ateca from new - yes definately short list it and I agree with most motoring journalists - it is exceptional value as a nearly new vehicle. Downsides of ownership - to be honest I can't think of any, ok it is not flashy, not particularly sporty and perhaps the Seat name has not the kudos of other VW brands, but hey if you want a nice looking, safe allround family car with quality materials it must be worth a test drive,
How reliable do you find the car?
The only issue I have had in 4 years is the front collision sensor which brings the car to a juddering halt at 15mph on narrow lanes for no reason. You can alter the sensitivity but still takes me by surprise and the car behind.About their car
