What does this car say about you?
I think the SEAT badge says I can see past the need for a posh brand.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like the looks and the leather...frustrated by the lack of space.
Would you buy this car again and why?
God no...the lack of space and the issues with the autobox. Plus it's basically 5 year old technology.
What are you likely to buy next?
Already ordered....SEAT Leon ST FR - can't wait!!

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
We bought this as we were expecting our first child and needed the extra room for all the baby gubbins.
What was the dealer like?
Dealer was great...have bought 4 cars from them. Always helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's OK to drive - not as fun as my old Leon FR (but never expected that anyway!). the 143 doesn't have a great deal of power when it's fully loaded but if it's just a cruise to work then not a bother. Comfy on the 18" wheels too.
What's it like to park?
Fairly easy with the rear sensors...the bonnet is very long and takes a bit of time to work out where it ends.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Autobox went Christmas Eve '13...after only 23000 miles!! Was off the road for 4 weeks. Fixed under warranty but there's been another gearbox issue (on a 7 month old box!).
What's most practical about your car?
For an estate it's not as big as you'd expect (read somewhere that the saloon has more space!). The rear seats are too small for tall people. Think the most annoying part is the load cover sits in a bulkhead which means you can't push a suitcase all the way to the back...caused a severe bout of swearing first time we went on holiday!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Probably the bi-xenon lights with headlight washer....sat nav is remedial (doesn't know streets which have been around since the war!!).
