SEAT Exeo ST (2009 - 2013) 2.0 TDI CR Sport Tech (170bhp) 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
My car was full of gadgets, bluetooth, sat nav, leather, full electrics and heated seats, climate control, everything you need really, so i'd recommend the Sport Tech if you can get one. The interior is basically from the B7 Audi A4/S4 and is good quality. I've owned a B7 Audi A4 in the past and this Seat felt just like being in that.
The exterior was nice and had the styling of the S-Line, tinted rear windows and low profile tyres and alloys which just ended up getting scuffed. I thought the car looked nice and from the side it is identical to a B7 A4 S-Line.
I had the 170bhp version of this car and i found the power to be more than adequate. Overtaking was a breeze and mid range acceleration on the motorway was great, although from a stand still too much on the pedal gives the usual wheel spin due to the power.
I only had a few issues really. One was the internal space of the car as it's quite compact in the front and the rear, especially having three kids (it was a squeeze and caused no end of arguments over sitting in the middle)! The intermittent wiper stopped working (probably just a relay) and It seemed i was forever changing bulbs in the lights. I had to replace the battery. No mechanical issues, it just started and went everyday with the only annoying thing a noisy belt when the engine was cold.
The car depreciated quickly being a Seat which would probably put me off buying a Seat again, although these can probably be picked relatively cheap now, so a good used car.
