I'd recommend the ibiza for someone looking for this sized car, certainly isn't the best car I've ever owned but a really good, comfortable, well handling little car that goes OK for what it is. I bought it for my wife who loved it and I always said that if it was 90 bhp more it would be brilliant. I didn't know about the Cupra but now I'm using the car more than my wife, I've ordered a new white Cupra Black Edition for mid January and really looking forward to it... :) The dealership is brilliant, very professional and friendly, Westgate Seat, Grimsby that is, and always willing to go that extra bit to keep me content. Brilliant Sales Executive who has never applied, nor tried, to pressure me.
How reliable do you find the car?
Track rods are iffy apparently on Ibizas but fixed under warranty. Never caused a problem other than a knock when turning.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Ace fuel consumption for such a small engine even on a 2500 Mike run to France. Averaged 44 mpg even though it was fully loaded with kids, kit and dog. Can easily make 55mpg when driven steady on the A roads where I live.About their car
