Economy
Value
I bought mine second hand and the prices range between around £1000 to £3000 so it's great value for money.
Costs
I've had mine a year only had to change the gasket due to corrosion. The VW parts are really good and show no signs of failing any time soon. The only down side is that I need to put around £20 petrol a week and I'm not exactly traveling the globe.

Driving
The driving is fun, the car is nippy and agile which makes it pleasurable to drive.
Performance
The suspension is really rigid so you can take corners at speed and not feel like you're going to rock over; it's fast and fun. You can get about 100mph out of it before it starts to whistle a bit due to the 4 speed gearbox.

Living with it
Reliability
I haven't had as much as a cold start even through an icy winter. It has not been off the road since I got it.
Image
The car looks really good for its age. The bodywork is good and the paintwork is fine, although trying to modify my car with bodykits is proving difficult as most kits for the Ibiza start later than the 93 model.
Comfort
The seats are very comfortable and the room in the front is very adequate, although the passanger seats in the back are a little cramped.
