Economy
Value
Bought for 1400,good all-round condition
Costs
Good fuel economy considering weight of car. Parts are cheap and can be used from Polo etc.
-
On the road
Driving
Unresponsive accelerator, poor brakes, stiff clutch, loads of body roll
Performance
Slow for a 1.4. Brakes very poor. Throttle too light. Clutch takes getting used to. Picks up in 3rd gear well.

Living with it
Reliability
Never broke down yet but having idling problems.
Image
Great for modding! Very rare on the modding scene and doesnt need much spent to outshine saxos, Fiestas, Corsas, Novas, Astras, Almeras etc.
Comfort
Pretty basic, but comfortable seats and lots of room.

Security and Service
Security
No security, had alarm and immobiliser fitted.
Service
Never really needed much, but are very helpful and have free coffee machine.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Runs well once warm. Got 90000 on clock though and it's telling.
Other
Clutch is very stiff. It's an Ibiza characteristic, but takes a lot of getting used to. Be prepared to look stupid stalling at cruises for a bit.
