-
Economy
Value
Resale values are slipping heavily due to Mark 3 and 4 Cupra.
Costs
Cheap insurance and reasonable fuel economy for a 2 litre.
-
On the road
Driving
Handles nicely, plenty of grip.
Performance
Could be quicker, but has plenty of mid-range torque.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Sometimes will fire up then cut out unless you keep the revs on. Clutch return bracket (or something) snapped.
Image
I took the naff Cupra Sport and GTi badges off and now it's a real Q car. Saxo/Fiesta drivers don't know what it is, which is a plus for me.
Comfort
Very comforatable for a GTi.

Security and Service
Security
Fitted Clifford alarm for peace of mind.
Service
Have heard bad reports from Seat main dealers, but I bought second hand and have it serviced by a specialist, so there you go.
