Economy
Value
Cheap to buy and run. No air con or sunroof, but otherwise well equiped.
Costs
Some dealers seem cheaper than others, but nothing too costly.

On the road
Driving
Generally good handling. Grip not that great. Would go as far as saying poor in the wet, even with decent Bridgestones on.
Performance
Quite quick, lots of torque from low down, but outclassed by even family cars with a decent 2.0 16v in a straight line.

Living with it
Reliability
Left stranded once and some issues with the engine cutting when revs dropping off mainly when changing down with engine braking. would leave the car with no power, but more worryingly no power assistance to the VERY heavy steering.
Image
Bright yellow, drew a lot of looks.
Comfort
Reasonable - nice seats, hard ride as you'd expect from this type of car.

Security and Service
Security
Most insurance companies wanted a new alarm fitting, the standard SEAT one isn't up to the job apparently.
Service
One local dealer was great - found them after problems with another who were rude and poor - I know some things they claimed were done at a service were not done. Swore at when advised them they'd not got back to me as promised on something.

Cut out from time to time, never at speed and not often.
