Economy
Value
Cheaper alternative to the Golf Gti. Also a bit faster due to being a lighter car.
Costs
Cheap to buy as a used car.

On the road
Driving
Great driving position. Easy to park and drive around town, but comes into its own on twisty country roads.
Performance
Loved the torque from the engine at low revs but suffers a bit at top end. With the right mods, this is easily rectified a top speed of 130mph was often achieved. Left a huge smile on my face when the Corsa/ Saxo drivers thought they had a chance.

Living with it
Reliability
Never ever let me down. Look after it and it will look after you.
Image
My Cupra was a metallic bronze colour, which in my opinion is the best colour to have. I upgraded the car and it really turned heads.
Comfort
The ride is a bit harsh due to the sport suspension, but the Recaro seats are very comfortable and really hold you in place when you are pushing it.

Security and Service
Security
Standard immobiliser, never had any issues with it.
Service
Never used the dealer as their prices were too high. Used a small, independant VW garage that really looked after the car and were very resonable.

Engine
Loved it.
Other
An overall great little car and looks better than the polo on which its based on. I recently replaced mines with an Alfa 156 and although its more comfortable car, i really miss the Seat.
