Summary
What does this car say about you?
It's a cheap runaround, I don't think it says much really! :p
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
That it's perfectly good for what I bought it for, and quite neat looking.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, simply because I would go for something like a Leon with a bigger petrol engine.
What are you likely to buy next?
Not sure, Golf/Leon/Focus most likely.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£1,850
When did you buy the car?
June 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes, this was about the going rate for the car in question.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Looking for a cheap runaround for my girlfriend for about £2000.
What was the dealer like?
We've not had to go back to him, we get all work carried out at a local indy garage. He was helpful at the time.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
VERY GOOD FUN. Despite the small engine, it's very enthusiastic and begs to be revved. Handling is great, like a go-kart, just point it where you want to go and it does it. I own a 1.9TDI Fabia, and I prefer to drive this if possible, despite the lack of power. It just makes me smile.
What's it like to park?
Slightly challenging. Steering is a bit heavy, and there's no parking aids.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Spark Plug Fuse went on the A38, which really caused a problem as we struggled to the next layby. Apart from that, it's been fine.
What's most practical about your car?
Five doors, it's surprisingly spacious for what is effectively a VW Polo.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Probably the CD changer, although I got that refurbed myself from EBay and fitted it.
