Economy
Value
Good - cheaper than the VW Polo alternative.
Costs
Again, cheaper than the Polo. Better to buy privately!

On the road
Driving
Hard sporty drive, steering responds well!
Performance
Very, very nippy for a diesel!! Accelerates lovely in 5th gear on the motorway! There is also the opportunity to tune for higher bhp and torque levels too.

Living with it
Reliability
I haven't had any reliability problems at all!
Image
I love the look of the Mk3 Ibiza! Its a modern sporty hatch and the Sport version has uprated exterior and interior trim.
Comfort
The bucket style seats hug you nicely and all the controls are easily accessible from any distance.

Security and Service
Security
I haven't had any problems with security as yet. Alarm is linked to the horn so is quite loud when it goes off.
Service
SEAT dealerships aren't worth the hassle. My local dealership sells you the car, takes your money then forgets that you ever existed. The used car warranty isn't really worth much either! They're generally unhelpful and can be quite arrogant!

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
No problems as yet although the dealer decided to fill my oil over the max line!
Other
Disc brakes - I do lots of miles so my brakes get lots of wear and tear - get them cleaned regularly if you're doing the mileage! The rear washer pipe has also leaked -this is a common fault in most new SEATs as they cut the pipe too short + it pops off!
Ownership
Did you buy the car new?
Used
Would you buy the same model again?
Yes
Did you buy from the same manufacturer again?
Yes
