Value
Excellent value. Picked up my 13 month old Ibiza for just over £6100. Inc. Air con, 6 Speaker CD system, ABS. Only missed out on alloy wheels.
Costs
This model is basically an SX without the alloy wheels. So if that doesn't bother you too much, you save a bit of cash. Cheap to run, very economical, low insurance and tax.

On the road
Driving
A joy to drive, very confident on any road or bend. Holds firm and nice even with a full load of passengers.
Performance
0-60 may not look impressive, however I've been doing a lot more 0-30 or 0-50 and at these ranges this car seems to pull as well as any bigger car I've driven. Motorway driving is faultless, cruise at 60-70 and it doesn't strain.

Living with it
Reliability
No problems so far, car is built with quality VW parts, I've had it over a month now which makes the car just over 14 months old. Feels like new still.
Image
Based on a VW Polo, I think it looks a lot better, and a ton better than the Skoda Fabia too! Nice curves, looks sporty and lively and stands out of the crowd.
Comfort
Excellent. Fully adjustable steering wheel back-forth/up-down and height adjustable seats. Very supportive seats, passengers are comfortable. Car sounds smooth and whistles along, some wind noise at motorway speeds.

Security and Service
Security
Security is outstanding, but may get some getting use to, especially passengers having to pull handle twice to get out or driver pressing unlock button. Doors automatically lock at 15kmph, car deadlocks with one press of remote.
Service
Service has been good to date.
