i think it is quite sporty. different.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
they think it is a good looking car but getting a little bit fed up of having to help me out with it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
only buy this car again if they can guarantee that all the problems have been ironed out in the new model.
What are you likely to buy next?
either a 1.4 ibiza, maybe a mazda 2, or a fiesta, cant decide, depends what i can afford.

My mother bought it, i inherited it. Was cheaper than a VW but the same specification.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
This car is a good drive i think, the steering is fairly light, but there is not much kick seeing as its a 1.2 but not too bad. Sounds like a diesel. much zippier than a corsa i recently drove in a 1.2.
What's it like to park?
its easy to park, i have no issues in parking this car, however it is awkward to lean over and move the side mirrors without electric controls.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
I have had a few issues with this car, i had to have a new gear box after 25K due to being unable to go into first gear, they found iron filings in the gear box. I had to have the lambda sensor replaced it has failed on emissions on all its MOTs. I have recently had to have the gear box serviced again due to a pin in the gear linkage falling out. It has just hit 60K and things are starting to go wrong, i.e. fuses going, fog lights, drivers seat no longer lifting up. just lots of little niggles.
What's most practical about your car?
The height adjustable seats, the fuel economy, the boot space is great good for fitting suitcases in.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
cup holder on the dash or the central sun visor.
