Summary
What does this car say about you?
Its quite understated especially in black which is the colour I have. This is good as it doesn't look to much like a chav car but I would prefer if it did stand out a bit more.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They really like it, apart from the chrome wing mirrors which I am also considering replacing.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I have considered the new Ibiza Bocanegra as it looks so good but not sure about semi-auto.
What are you likely to buy next?
I may look at something bigger like a focus ST but no idea at this point. Think I may stay with a VAG car as I am really impressed with the build quality.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£5,595
When did you buy the car?
March 2011
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes it was good he chucked in a years warranty and is doing the cambelt for me for cheap.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I was looking around for a hot hatch and this was the best I found, lowest on insurance and good build quality. Also my friend has a Leon Cupra R which I was really impressed with.
What was the dealer like?
Really good, they are CCS car sales in Thatcham.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Its a hard ride, very firm suspension but I did expect this and its not unbearable by any means. Handling is very responsive and the power is incredible.
What's it like to park?
Its nice and simple to park as you would expect from a small hatch.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing so far, the previous owner hasn't looked after it particularly well as there are scratches inside the car and a few on the paintwork.
What's most practical about your car?
It's got better fuel economy then I expected, it often achieves high 30's and low 40's mpg which is very impressive as I do mainly country roads.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
I love having air-con, also love the cupholder, sounds stupid but its a really nice novelty.
