I bought from a BCA auction so got a great price. It was an ex-lease car.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Powerful and economical VW PD130 engine, and facelift Ibiza FR has nicer trim level, painted bumpers, and 17" alloys.

What's it like to drive?
PD130 engine has great effortless midrange power. 30-70 is where it counts; pulling on to motorways is like a plane taking off.
What's it like to park?
Good visibility and power steering make it a doddle.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Rear wiper washer jet needing fixing (£60), intercooler intake pipe needed replacing (£130).
What's most practical about your car?
3 door model has huge doors, great for tall people. Hatchback with the seats down can fit a road bike with the wheel removed.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Six speed gear box, sports seats, and remarkable good standard sound system.
