The car is understated - the ultimate Q car. People soon look when you accelerate away from them - easy to embarrass GTI's.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Like the looks and lines of the car.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Because of the gearbox seizure, without warning - and the 800+ bill to fix it, I have no confidence in SEAT as a brand. Warning lights also come on without warning, plastic trim easy to snap. I would advise anyone to steer clear of any SEAT. After looking on SEAT forums, gearboxes are a weak point, apparently.

What are you likely to buy next?

Never again will I buy a car from the VAG group. I cannot afford to take the risk.

Fair price for the car. FSH, cambelt changed, straight vehicle.

Good economy and performance, well reviewed by press and owners.

What's it like to drive?

Superb. The only gripe I have with the drive is the slightly hard ride and that the seats are not as supportive as they should be.

What's it like to park?

No problem.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Yes. 2 months into ownership, the gearbox has brokien. The selector rod between 1-2 broke without warning.

What's most practical about your car?

Economy and performance. Easy to drive.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Traction Control System.
