Economy
Value
Excellent! Although I bought mine private sale, 2yrs 2000 miles, £9000.
Costs
Servicing is in line with our Fiesta, warranty services always cost more. Pricey tyres, but they'll last if they aren't thrashed. Diesel lasts forever - I got 60.1 mpg on the way to work today!

On the road
Driving
Fantastic! Smooth as you like with just the right amount of resistance at speed.
Performance
More power than you can shake a stick at - incredible amount of torque in 6th.

Living with it
Reliability
Aftermarket chrome vent surrounds fell off, door rattles with high stereo volume, but I suspect most people would think my music loud.
Image
Used to prefer Leon's, still sort of do, but the styling is growing on me. Particularly with the slightly oversized 16"" boots on.
Comfort
Bumpy ride over poor surfaces, but the seats make up for that. Cruising on the motorway is heaven. Road noise noticeable from low profile tyres. Not nearly as bad as some people make out.

Security and Service
Security
Set the alarm off the other day - still deaf in one ear now. Great security kit.
Service
Servicing ok so far - a little blunt at my local dealer, but that isn't the Seat's fault.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
None
Other
Aftermarket fittings - just shiny plastic, which gets pushed on at the dealers. Looks good when in place though.
