SEAT Ibiza Hatchback FR 1.5 TSI Evo 150PS 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
Not quite sure it'll be the best you've ever owned, but if you want something small, stylish, well built, practical, nicely quick you could do a lot worse. As I mentioned earlier I replaced a prev gen Polo with this (price up an equivalenmt Polo and you will see why). This looks better and spec for spec is about 3 thousand pounds less thasn the Polo. The 1.5 engine is an absolute peach, I would have preferred a DSG gearbox but those were not available with the 1.5 at the time I ordered mine. I specced the faux leather/suede seats which gives a nice swathe of "leather" across the dash, and the very stylish seats. You won't be able to as SEAT has decided you can only have this option on the Xcellence Model. Same is true for a centre arm rest (Why SEAT in the age of ever increasing personalisation take away these desirable configurations). All in all I would suggest this is an excellent, quick, good looking car. I'm very happy with my purchase, and also found the dealership I purchsed from Dennis Horton excellent and responsive.
How reliable do you find the car?
It's a brand new car so I wouldn't expect any issues, and have had none.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
I was concerned about build quality inside after having read so many car reviews. I replaced a previous generation Polo (64 Reg) the 1.2 TSi SE model with this, and it's a revelation. So much more space on the interior, and zero issues with it in terms of fit and finsih it's a very polished product.About their car
