Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£10,995
When did you buy the car?
August 2010
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes! The car was 5 months old, and up for £11,295 which was cheaper than it should have been already as the lead salesman said it should have been up for more.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
The dealer was very friendly and gave great customer service, even delaying his holiday by one day so that I could pick it up. This is the first car I have bought from a dealership, and it was reassuring to have this support, which has continued into after-sales. It seems they can't do enough for me!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
On the whole its a great car, the handling is responsive, the DSG 'box is very good, not at all jerky, and the acceleration is good. I'm still not used to parking with an auto though
What's it like to park?
Would be easier with a manual but not bad as has large mirrors and rear visibility. Difficult to tell where the bonnet ends though.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No but there has been a slight 'clunk' noise from underneath when parking or shifting from D to P but I have not yet returned it (it's going in next week)
What's most practical about your car?
Not really applicable, I didn't buy it for this! However, there is a fair bit of rear head and leg space for a small car.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Cornering function on fog lights - at night at low speeds turning the wheel left/right turns on the appropriate front fog light
