Little directly - its a bit of a Q car. However those that know, know.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Nothing, they're not car geeks.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. Good value, solidly built, excellent performance - practical yet great fun.
What are you likely to buy next?
SEAT Leon Cupra, for value and performance, but possibly a Evo X or SAAB 95 Aero (another fast Q car).

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£19,000
When did you buy the car?
January 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes. Wife and I had bought SEATs in the past. This was also their demonstrator.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Nice looking, good performance and handling for the money, good trade in for previous shape cupra.
What was the dealer like?
Very good. Kept it simple and easy.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Excellent. No turbo lag, little roll a joy. Perhaps too understated for its own good. Some wheel spin in the wet, even with traction control
What's it like to park?
Simple and straight forward, but thick A pillars can make pulling out a little fraught.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing mechanically, but three niggles - passenger seat belt connector rattles against B pillar when not in use; exhaust mid point mounting rattles under body; very powerful brakes over servo assisted (like a brake switch!)
What's most practical about your car?
easy to live with, practical to use and park day-to-day while still making the daily commute a thrill.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Steerable xenon headlights which make for a very clear night drive.
