Summary
What does this car say about you?
It should say that I have a nice taste in cars but also do not want to set my pockets on fire with general running costs.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My friends and family really like this car due to it being quite nippy and relatively cheap on running costs. Plus its a good size for everyday needs.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I wouldI buy this car again. Less mileage preferably. I would buy because I think this is a very nice smart looking car and it is a joy to drive when it does not have any issues with that problematic DPF.
What are you likely to buy next?
I would like to go back to Japanese cars, preferably an import. An R33 skyline on perhaps a DC5 integra. But this is insurance permitting.

I got an okay deal considering the mileage (93,000) and condition etc.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
At my age (21 at the time of purchase) it was the most powerful and fuel economical car i could get a decent insurance quote on. So I jumped at it.
What was the dealer like?
Dealer was nice to deal with when i purchased the car but wasn't particularly helpful when I phoned with issues later on.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Its very nice to drive. Car has taught suspension, but isnt harsh around town. The acceleration is brilliant, smooth through the gears and turbo picks up very fast. The car also has very light responsive steering around town, and on faster roads the steering is tight. Gives a very nice driving experience.
What's it like to park?
Parking is quite easy. Good visibility out all windows. Standard window tint is light enough that it doesn't hinder visibility at night. smooth light steering is easy around car parks and small turning circle helps to get into quite tricky spaces.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes, the main problem i have had with this car is the faulty DPF. This has caused a lot of issues with the car. Car would suddenly dip into limp mode and suffer accelerating. Being the PD model nothing could be done re-map wise. Only thing is an extremely costly new filter £1500 which was not covered on waranty.
What's most practical about your car?
Size and comfort. Has a very spacious boot which comfortably fits my sons rather large silvercross deluxe pram, without needing to partly dismantle the prams chassis. Also, on driving daily, the sports seats are very pleasant sit in for long periods of time.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Hands free blue tooth and FR emblem seating.
